Speaking of looks, the RS has a black grille with a chrome surround. There’s also a black Malibu badge. But the sportiest element is in the back. The RS adds a rear spoiler and dual-outlet exhaust. Inside, you get an 8-way power driver seat. And the steering wheel is wrapped in leather.
With the LT trim, the Malibu starts to feel a bit more luxurious. This is the first trim where you can get the Midnight, Redline, and Sport Editions. On the outside, you get LED Daytime Running Lamps. But the real upgrades are inside the cabin.
Both the driver and front passenger get heated seats. The back seat passengers aren’t left out either. They get their own vent on the rear console and rear seat armrests.
